This hotfix is also set to come to Xbox, likely (but confirmed) in January.Ĭurrent topics that we’ve already started looking into include certain PS5 Trophies not triggering for some players, notably around Throwdowns, Gymkhana points and total mileage. On PC, this also added further visual improvements for Nvidia GPUs. Whilst the team are obviously taking a hard-earned festive break, reports from players will continue to be monitored, and we’re collating all feedback to get stuck into in January.Ī hotfix (2.00.1) has also gone live on PC and PS5/4 to address the issue some players had accessing Career mode.
Update 2.00 is now live on all platforms – we appreciate your patience with this latest update and hope you enjoy the free Snow Limits content and addition of wheel support. Hi all – a final update of 2020 for you on DIRT 5 community-related topics blush May still try the resolution mode just to see if it is more stable overall.
I think if the frame-rate was more solid I would feel better, so I hope that a future patch will clean this up. Online is insanely bare bones, but was passable for the few races I tried. The controls and handling/gameplay is nice, but the collisions feel like they lack weight and the announcers/presentation is a little flat. Didn't really look like tearing as much as drops and dips. 120fps didn't really feel much smoother on my LG OLED and the visual downgrade was horrid so I turned it down to the 60fps performance mode and started noticed a lot of frame-rate issues. I've only tried 120fps and performance modes and was very disappointed. The different visual modes aren't great either. Vehicles themselves don't look that great to me for some reason. The visuals overall have good environments, weather and lighting effects, but it feels a little inconsistent when you see low res details on objects and vehicles. Was looking for something casual with good visuals and am a little disappointed at the moment.
Further general visual and performance improvements across the board, including visual updates to the ‘Prioritise Frame Rate’/120hz mode on Xbox Series X.WHEEL SUPPORT – Extensive selection of wheels supported for DIRT 5 across each platform, including Thrustmaster, Logitech and some Fanatec devices We'll have more news regarding this update's release on as soon as possible.
